Employee Laptop Reload/Upgrade Agreement
As part of the Jackson College initiative to upgrade computers to Windows 11, your laptop will be reloaded with the new operating system.
To ensure the safety of your personal and work files, the following terms apply:
Employee Responsibilities

Data Backup

Before your laptop is reloaded or upgraded, you are solely responsible for backing up all your data, including (but not limited to):

Documents, spreadsheets, presentations

Desktop files and downloads
-
Email archives (if locally stored)

Photos, videos, and any other personal files

Acceptable backup locations may include approved cloud storage (OneDrive, Google Drive, etc.), external hard drives, or USB storage devices.

Software & Settings

Any personal software, custom settings, or configurations not part of the standard Jackson College build will not be restored automatically. Employees must reinstall or reconfigure these items on their own, after approval if required.
Employee Acknowledgement
I acknowledge that I have read and understand the above requirements regarding the Windows 11 reload/upgrade process. I accept full responsibility for backing up my data before my device is reloaded or upgraded.
I understand that Jackson College IT is not responsible for any data loss that occurs if I fail to back up my files.
