How to Toggle Browser Extensions
Why Do This?
Some applications used by Jackson College, such as Respondus not working or Okta MFA with 'Null ID Token', may have issues functioning with certain browser extensions. This article will show you how to enable and disable extensions for the browsers Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. To test if an extension is causing an issue, try opening the application facing errors in a private/incognito tab first. If it launches properly, then it is likely an extension causing the issue.
Microsoft Edge
Below is how to access the extension control settings for Microsoft Edge.
1. Open Edge.
2. In the top right corner, click the ellipsis (three dots) for a list of browser options.
3. Select the ‘Extensions’ option denoted with a puzzle piece. This will open another option panel.
