Questions About Azure?

What is MFA?
MFA (Multifactor Authentication, 2FA, Two Factor Authentication) is a secondary step added to the sign in process. It helps secure your account by requiring not only your password, but also a one-time code that will be sent to your mobile device.

Why are we doing this?
We are doing this to help keep our accounts secure. A password can be shared, but a one-time code with a short lifespan is harder to get ahold of by threat actors.

What if I can’t reach my phone?
If you are unable to reach your phone or receive your one-time code, you can contact the Solution Center at 514-796-8639 or jcsolutioncenter@jccmi.edu for assistance.

What if I change my number?
If you change your number, you will need to replace your old number on file for Azure with the new number before you sign out. If you need additional assistance with this, you can also contact the Solution Center at 514-796-8639 or jcsolutioncenter@jccmi.edu.
