Respondus Lockdown for Chromebooks

Respondus LockDown Browser for Chromebooks

Respondus is a lockdown browser and video monitoring system.  You will need to have a web cam + microphone installed on your computer.  Respondus will be used only for exams, not for labs, lab practicals, and discussions.

To get set up, Watch the Respondus Browser video:

Once downloaded, open the Respondus Lockdown Browser. The browser will tell you to close various programs before taking you to the JCCMI login page. Log in using your Canvas credentials (e-mail/password) and click on your class.

The browser will ask you to do a scan of the room you are in before you begin. If you click out of Respondus while you’re taking the exam, you will not be able to go back into the exam, so don’t click out of Respondus while you’re working.
